Is a consortium of Recovery Community Organizations in Pennsylvania focused on recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. This website and consortium was funded by SAMHSA (The Substance Abuse Mental and Health Services Administration) BRSS TACS Grants for peer-run recovery community organizations to build a state wide network for State Peer Health Reform Education.

We are an organization comprised of community volunteers created to fight stigma and discrimination for people seeking recovery, their family members, and persons in recovery through REACH…Recovery - the many pathways available…Education, information distribution...Advocate for recovery...Community involvement and events...Healing our city, community, and region on the economic impact.

PRO-A , Pennsylvania Recovery Organizations Alliance, Inc.

PRO-A , founded in 1998, gives a voice and focal point to the statewide recovery community. PRO-A works in collaboration with other organizations to educate the public on Substance Use Disorders (SUD), fight stigma and discrimination, and represent the best interests of the recovery community. Our mission is to mobilize, educate and advocate eliminating the stigma and discrimination toward those affected by SUD and to ensure hope, health and justice for individuals and families in recovery.

PRO-ACT, Pennsylvania Recovery Organization-Achieving Community Together

PRO-ACT, founded in 1997 is a grassroots advocacy and recovery support initiative of the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. PRO-ACT works to reduce the stigma of addiction, ensure the availability of adequate treatment and recovery support services and to influence public opinion and policy regarding the value of recovery. PRO-ACT is developing constituency of Ambassadors for Recovery.

The RASE Project

The RASE Project, founded in 2000, is a Recovery Community Organization comprised entirely of staff and volunteers from the Recovery Community and exists to serve the Recovery Community, defined as: any person in, or seeking recovery, their families, close friends and other loved ones. Our mission is to assist all those individuals affected by substance use issues, problems, and concerns by fostering progress, enriching lives, and ultimately enhancing the recovery process.
